Peach Tea Light Cream
Description

Peach Tea Deo Cream is my aluminium free natural deodorant cream with a fresh, delicate, citrus-sweet scent - bergamot, ylang ylang and eucalyptus. Suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Peach Tea is one of my most-requested scents, so I brought it back. There's no peach fragrance or parfum in it - just pure essential oils, blended to give that peach tea feeling.

It won't stop you sweating - sweating is normal, and your body needs to do it. What it does is neutralise odour and keep you feeling fresh, while shea butter, mango butter and jojoba oil look after the delicate skin under your arms.

Made for you if...

  • you want a natural deodorant without aluminium
  • you love a soft, sweet, citrusy scent
  • you're pregnant or breastfeeding and want a scented deodorant that's suitable
  • you want a deodorant you can use straight after shaving
  • you've tried natural deodorants that felt dry or chalky and want a creamy one instead

Not quite you? Prefer no scent at all? Try Cloud Deo Cream. Want the matching cream? Peach Tea Light Cream is suitable during pregnancy too.

At a glance: aluminium free · soft citrus sweet · 80g tin or 15g trial tin · vegan, cruelty free, palm oil free · plastic free aluminium tin · handmade by me in small batches in Devon

Ingredients and what they do
  • Arrowroot powder and kaolin clay - soft, absorbent powders that help you feel dry and comfortable
  • Sodium bicarbonate, magnesium hydroxide and zinc ricinoleate - work together to neutralise odour
  • Coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter and jojoba oil - make it creamy and care for underarm skin
  • Bergamot, ylang ylang and eucalyptus essential oils - the delicate Peach Tea scent

A note on bicarb: some people find sodium bicarbonate irritates their underarms. I use a low amount and balance it with magnesium hydroxide and zinc ricinoleate, so the cream doesn't rely on bicarb alone. If you know your skin is sensitive to it, start with a 15g trial tin and patch test first.

Full ingredients (INCI): Maranta Arundinacea Root Powder (Arrowroot), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, Magnesium Hydroxide, Kaolin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Zinc Ricinoleate, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang) Flower Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Leaf Oil

Essential oils contain: Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Farnesol, Limonene, Linalool

How to use
  1. Scoop a pea-sized amount with your fingertip.
  2. Warm it between your fingertips for a few seconds, until it softens.
  3. Smooth it onto clean, dry underarms. A little goes a long way.

Prefer not to use your fingers? Pair it with a bamboo spatula to scoop out just what you need.

Switching from an antiperspirant? Some people find it takes a week or two for their body to settle in. Stick with it.

How long does a tin last? An 80g tin lasts around 4-6 months of daily use, and a 15g trial tin around 2-4 weeks - perfect for trying the scent first, or for your gym bag and travels.

Storage: keep it somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight - the natural butters soften in warm weather. Safe to use for 12 months once opened.

Suitability
  • Aluminium free
  • Suitable to use straight after shaving
  • Contains sodium bicarbonate, in a low amount
  • Suitable to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Patch test first, and don't apply to broken skin.

Questions

Does natural deodorant cream really work?
It neutralises odour rather than blocking sweat. You'll still sweat, which is completely normal - the cream is there to keep you smelling fresh.

What does Peach Tea smell like?
Fresh, delicate and citrus sweet - bergamot and ylang ylang with a little eucalyptus. No peach fragrance, just pure essential oils.

Can I use it straight after shaving?
Yes. Shea butter, mango butter and jojoba oil make it gentle enough to use straight after shaving.

Which size should I buy?
The 15g trial tin to try it, then the 80g tin once you've found your favourite.

Is it vegan and plastic free?
Yes - vegan, cruelty free and palm oil free, in a recyclable aluminium tin.
