Handmade vegan skincare, natural deodorant and soap - made by me in Devon

It neutralises odour rather than blocking sweat. My natural deo creams are aluminium free, so you'll still sweat (which is completely normal) - the cream is there to keep you smelling fresh. If you're switching from an antiperspirant, some people find it takes a week or two to settle in.

Take a small pea-sized amount, warm it between your fingertips for a few seconds and smooth it on. A little goes a long way.

For most people, a main 80g tin lasts months. If you're new to natural deodorant, start with a 15g trial tin of any deo cream to find your favourite scent first.

Start with Cloud, my unscented collection - nothing added for scent, and the favourite with customers who have dry and sensitive skin. Softy is my gentlest, fragrance free bar for hair, face and body. As with any new skincare, patch test first.

I can't tell you any skincare will treat rosacea - that's one for your GP or dermatologist. What I can tell you is that many customers with reactive skin choose my unscented Cloud collection, because there's nothing added for scent. If you prefer a facial oil, Face Drops #2 is a rich, nourishing blend of sea buckthorn, baobab, camellia and argan oils - it does contain rose and ylang ylang essential oils, so patch test it first. Every ingredient is listed on each product page so you can check for anything you know your skin doesn't like.

I can't claim any skincare will treat eczema or psoriasis - that's one for your GP or pharmacist. What I can tell you is that many customers with eczema-prone and psoriasis-prone skin choose my unscented Cloud collection, especially Cloud Light Cream with oat kernel oil, chamomile water and shea butter, and Softy, my gentlest fragrance free bar. Patch test first, and avoid broken or flaring skin.

Face Drops #2 is made for normal to dry and mature skin - a facial oil with sea buckthorn, baobab, camellia and argan, scented with rose and ylang ylang. Use 3-4 drops in the morning and 4-6 at night, on its own or under a light cream. Lotus Light Cream is my autumn choice for skin that feels dry, tight or changing, and Cherry Light Cream is made for normal to dry and mature skin too. Both are light, never greasy, and lovely under make-up. Finish with Lotus Body Balm for hands, cuticles and heels.

I'm in midlife myself, and like a lot of women I've found my skin feels drier and more sensitive than it used to. What works for me is keeping it simple: Lotus Light Cream for face and body, Miracle Body Balm wherever skin feels tight, and a Bakuchiol Face Sheet Mask when my skin needs a little extra. For daily cleansing I love any of my soaps - the lather is rich and silky, which makes them perfect for shaving too. Peach Tea Deo Cream is my favourite, but any of my deo creams keep hormonal odour away all day - and my reviews say the same. On days my skin feels reactive, I switch to my unscented Cloud collection. This is my own experience rather than medical advice - speak to your GP about any symptoms.

Keep it gentle and simple. For faces, Conch Face Wash Bar or Reef Cleansing Gel cleans without leaving skin tight. Then Breeze, Bright or Peach Tea light creams and deo creams - fresh scents, light textures, never greasy. My reviews tell me the deo creams keep hormonal teens fresh all day.

Many of my products are, including my unscented Cloud Light Cream and Deo Cream, Cherry Light Cream, the Miracle collection (Light Oil, Body Balm and Cleansing Polish), Peach Tea Light Cream and Deo Cream, and Flora Light Cream and Deo Cream. No. You won't find parabens, phthalates, microplastics, SLS or SLES, silicones, mineral oil, petroleum, PEGs or synthetic fragrance in anything I make, and my deo creams are aluminium free. My water-based creams do contain a gentle preservative - they need one to stay safe to use - and, like every other ingredient, it's listed on each product page.

Everything I make is vegan, cruelty free, palm oil free and plastic free, and scented only with pure essential oils (or completely unscented, in Cloud). The full ingredient list is on every product page.

Every product is handmade by me in my small studio in Ivybridge, on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon - in batches as small as 14 tins. I make, pour, wrap and pack every order myself. You can read more in my story.

Because most beauty awards charge a huge amount of money to enter. Product performance plays a part, but the brands that win are usually the ones with the budget to pay for a place on the shortlist. Everything I make is safe to use for 12 months. Because I make small batches with natural ingredients, they're at their freshest and most wonderful within 3-6 months - so use them up and enjoy them, rather than saving them for best. Store them somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight.

It depends how much of you it covers. A 50g tin used just on your face lasts around 1-2 months. Use it all over and it goes faster - a 150g tin shared by a family of four as holiday after-sun lasted us two weeks. Try a 10g trial tin of any light cream first if you're choosing between them.

A 120g bar gives roughly 25-35 washes. To make it last as long as possible, keep it on a draining soap dish between uses so it can dry out. Shop handmade soap.
