Made for you if...
Olla Deo Cream is my aluminium free natural deodorant cream in a warm, spiced blend of sweet orange, cinnamon, clove and patchouli. One of my Autumn Rituals.
The name came from a CONCHUS customer: café de olla is a Mexican coffee made with cinnamon, clove and orange. It smells warm and comforting - juicy sweet orange, spicy cinnamon and clove, with earthy patchouli.
It won't stop you sweating - sweating is normal, and your body needs to do it. What it does is neutralise odour and keep you feeling fresh, while shea butter, mango butter and jojoba oil look after the delicate skin under your arms.
Made for you if...
Not quite you? If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, choose Cloud (unscented), Peach Tea or Cherry Deo Cream. Want the full autumn ritual? Pair it with Olla Exfoliating Bar and Olla Light Cream.
At a glance: aluminium free · warm spiced orange · 80g tin or 15g trial tin · vegan, cruelty free, palm oil free · plastic free aluminium tin · handmade by me in small batches in Devon
A note on bicarb: some people find sodium bicarbonate irritates their underarms. I use a low amount and balance it with magnesium hydroxide and zinc ricinoleate, so the cream doesn't rely on bicarb alone. If you know your skin is sensitive to it, start with a 15g trial tin and patch test first.
Full ingredients (INCI): Maranta Arundinacea Root Powder (Arrowroot), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, Magnesium Hydroxide, Kaolin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Zinc Ricinoleate, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Peel Oil, Litsea Cubeba (May Chang) Fruit Oil, Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Leaf Oil, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon) Leaf Oil, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Bud Oil
Essential oils contain: Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool
Prefer not to use your fingers? Pair it with a bamboo spatula to scoop out just what you need.
Switching from an antiperspirant? Some people find it takes a week or two for their body to settle in. Stick with it.
How long does a tin last? An 80g tin lasts around 4-6 months of daily use, and a 15g trial tin around 2-4 weeks - perfect for trying the scent first, or for your gym bag and travels.
Storage: keep it somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight - the natural butters soften in warm weather. Safe to use for 12 months once opened.
Patch test first, and don't apply to broken skin.
Does natural deodorant cream really work?
It neutralises odour rather than blocking sweat. You'll still sweat, which is completely normal - the cream is there to keep you smelling fresh.
What does Olla smell like?
Warm and comforting - juicy sweet orange, spicy cinnamon and clove, with earthy patchouli.
Can I use it straight after shaving?
Yes. Shea butter, mango butter and jojoba oil make it gentle enough to use straight after shaving.
Which size should I buy?
The 15g trial tin to try it, then the 80g tin once you've found your favourite.
Is it vegan and plastic free?
Yes - vegan, cruelty free and palm oil free, in a recyclable aluminium tin.
I think I might've found the perfect deodorant! It's efficient, long lasting, smells amazing, natural and eco friendly. I tried a lot of other "eco" brands and was always disappointed to varying degrees, but the Olla deo cream didn't disappoint at all. It exceeded my expectations and I will be using it from now on.
Repeat purchase of really great deodorant, from such a lovely small business!
I love this deodorant. It smells divine, goes on smoothly and works a treat. I only ever buy deodorant now from Conchus - a passionate, ethical and caring small business.
Olla is utterly divine! A deliciously warm, comforting and grounding scent. Love love love conchus deo creams. They’re super gentle and nourishing on the skin :)
Such a happy repeat customer. These natural deodorants are gorgeous smelling, glide onto skin and really beat the high street wasteful sprays for quality, results and value for money over time. A tin lasts ages, even in summer
