Lotus Light Cream

Description

Autumn collection. One light cream for face, body, hands and feet.

This is the cream I want on my skin when the weather turns. Light enough for your face every morning, under make-up. Nourishing enough for hands and legs once the heating goes on and everything starts to feel a bit tight.

Blackcurrant seed oil, golden jojoba oil and cocoa butter. It absorbs quickly, isn't sticky or greasy, and leaves skin soft and comfortable all day.

Scented with my Lotus blend - clary sage, bergamot, ylang ylang, sweet orange and Roman chamomile. Fresh citrus-floral to start, settling into something earthy, sweet and calm.

I created Lotus in autumn 2024, while I was planning my trip to Bali. The lotus flower roots itself in mud, rises through murky water and blooms clean on the surface. Renewal, from the ground up. It's also my favourite for my own skin - the one I reach for when it just needs calm and comfort.

Key Ingredients

• Blackcurrant seed oil - rich in omega fatty acids, it helps skin feel soft and comfortable
• Golden jojoba oil - a liquid wax very similar to the skin's own oils, so it sinks in without feeling heavy
• Cocoa butter - rich and softening, for skin that feels tight or dry
• Lotus essential oil blend - clary sage, bergamot, ylang ylang, sweet orange and Roman chamomile

How to use

• Scoop a small amount from the tin
• Massage over your face and neck
• Cover your face with your hands for a moment - breathe in, breathe out
• Use what's left on hands, cuticles, elbows, legs and feet
• Works well under make-up

Suitability

Not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Patch test before first use if your skin is sensitive. Store somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight.

Aluminium tins: 10g trial, 50g and 150g. Plastic free, vegan, cruelty free and palm oil free. Handmade by me, in small batches, in my Devon studio.
