Face Drops #2 is my handmade natural facial oil for normal to dry and mature skin, and winter skin that needs a little extra - a blend of sea buckthorn, baobab, camellia, argan, apricot kernel, grape seed and jojoba oils, with a rich, luxurious scent from rose and ylang ylang.

I believe skin needs the right vitamins, minerals and fatty acids to stay healthy and clear, so I balanced each Face Drops oil for a different skin type. Use it instead of your daily moisturiser and night cream - a few drops are light enough for every day, but rich enough to leave skin nourished.

Ingredients and what they do

• Sea buckthorn oil - rich in beta carotene and omega 7 - it gives the oil its golden colour
• Baobab oil - rich in omegas 3, 6 and 9, it softens dry skin
• Camellia oil - silky and light, with natural phytosqualene
• Argan oil - nourishing and softening
• Apricot kernel and grape seed oils - light, vitamin-rich oils
• Jojoba oil - very close to skin's own oils, so it sinks in without feeling heavy
• Rose and ylang ylang essential oils - a rich, luxurious floral scent

No water, so no preservative needed.

Full ingredients (INCI): Prunus Armeniaca (apricot) Kernel Oil, Vitis Vinifera (grape) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (argan) Oil, Camellia Oleifera (camellia) Seed Oil, Adansonia Digitata (baobab) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) Fruit Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (vitamin e), Cananga Odorata (ylang ylang) Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena (rose) Oil.

Essential oils contain: Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Linalool

How to use

Day: 3-4 drops. Night: 4-6 drops.

1. Place the drops on your fingertips.
2. Pat gently all over your face.
3. Massage in small circles from the middle of your face out towards your ears, then finish with your neck.
4. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

How long does a bottle last? A 10ml bottle lasts around 1 month, and a 50ml bottle around 4-5 months.

Pipette or cap? Choose the dropper pipette for your first bottle. The aluminium cap is for your next one, so you can reuse your pipette and cut down on waste.

Store somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight.

Questions

Will a face oil make my skin greasy?
Not when you use the right amount. 3-4 drops sink in within a minute or two and leave skin soft, not shiny.

Can I use it with my moisturiser?
Yes. Use it on its own, or press a few drops in before your cream.

What does it smell like?
Rich and floral - rose and ylang ylang.

Which Face Drops is right for me?

Is it vegan?
Yes - vegan, cruelty free and palm oil free, handmade by me in Devon.
