How to use
Solid Conditioner Bars
Generously wet both the conditioner bar and your hair
Apply the bar directly to your wet hair
Massage the conditioner bar into your scalp and drag it down the length and massage into the ends
Rinse your hair thoroughly
If your hair is only dry on the length / ends, avoid massaging the bar on your roots and just concentrate the application of the bar where needed.
How to store
Keep your bars cool and dry
When stored correctly, your shampoo and conditioner bars will remain solid, dry and keep their shape. Better still, they will last 2-3 times longer than a standard bottle of liquid shampoo or conditioner.
Do you need to use a conditioner bar after using a shampoo bar?
It really depends on your hair and if it’s dry, more than shoulder length or prone to tangling - you probably will. Some of our customers find that the shampoo bar alone is sufficiently conditioning due to the gentle cleansers and plant based oils included.
How do conditioner bars work?
Conditioner bars contain many of the same ingredients as liquid conditioner, just in a concentrated solid form without the water. By coating the hair with oils and conditioning ingredients - they work best when applied directly to wet hair, left on for a minute or two then rinsed.
How long do conditioner bars usually last?
Since conditioner bars are very concentrated and don’t contain any water, most people find only a small amount is required per use which means that they last for at least 60 – 80 washes, an 80g bar can last 6 months. Keeping it dry between uses will help it last longer.
Are your conditioner bars palm oil free?
We’re happy to say that we don’t use any palm oil or palm derivatives in our shampoo or conditioner bars.
If you want to avoid palm oil, it’s best to check directly with the brand. KIND2 use Behentrimonium Methosulfate made from rapeseed oil.
Is this conditioner bar suitable for children?
This conditioner bar is formulated to be pH balanced in the range of 3.8 – 4.5. It’s safe for children aged 3 and over. OurFragrance Free Conditioner Barcontains no added fragrance and is ideal for people with allergies, sensitive skin or scalps. Children have delicate skin that can be irritated by synthetic fragrances.
