Description

Cherry Light Cream is my handmade face and body cream for normal to dry and mature skin, with rose water, cherry kernel oil and shea butter, in a soft floral blend of lavender, ylang ylang and palmarosa. Suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Cherry is gentle and floral, with a soft sweetness - the calmest of my autumn rituals. There's no synthetic cherry scent, just pure essential oils.

It's whipped and light, absorbs quickly, and isn't sticky or greasy - light enough for your face under make-up, nourishing enough for hands, legs and feet.

Made for you if...

  • your skin is normal to dry or mature
  • you're pregnant or breastfeeding and want a scented cream that's suitable
  • you love a soft, floral scent
  • you want one cream for face, body, hands and feet
  • you don't like the feel of heavy, greasy creams

Not quite you? Try Cloud (unscented, for sensitive or very dry skin), Lotus (dry or tight skin) or Peach Tea (normal to combination, suitable in pregnancy). Want the full ritual? Pair it with Cherry Deo Cream and Cherry Exfoliating Bar. Still deciding? Start with the 10g trial tin.

At a glance: for dry and mature skin · soft floral scent · face and body · 10g trial, 50g or 150g · vegan, cruelty free, palm oil free · plastic free aluminium tin · handmade by me in small batches in Devon

Ingredients and what they do
  • Rose water - a softly floral base in place of some of the water
  • Cherry kernel oil - a silky, light oil that leaves skin feeling soft
  • Golden jojoba oil - very close to skin's own oils, so it absorbs easily
  • Shea butter - rich and softening, for skin that feels tight or dry
  • Lavender, ylang ylang and palmarosa essential oils - the soft Cherry scent

Because it's water based, it contains a gentle preservative to keep it safe to use. Like every other ingredient, it's listed below - nothing hidden.

Full ingredients (INCI): Aqua (Water), Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water, Prunus Avium (Cherry) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang) Flower Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Cymbopogon Martini (Palmarosa) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate

Essential oils contain: Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Citral, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool

How to use
  1. Scoop a small amount out of the tin with clean, dry fingers.
  2. Warm it between your fingertips and smooth it over your face and neck.
  3. Take a moment - cover your face with your hands, breathe in, breathe out.
  4. Use what's left on hands, cuticles, elbows, legs or feet - anywhere that feels dry.

Use it morning and night. It sits nicely under make-up.

How long does a tin last? A 50g tin used just on your face lasts around 1-2 months. Used all over it goes faster, so the 150g tin is the one for all-over use and families.

Once opened: safe to use for 12 months, and at its freshest within 3-6 months. Store somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight.

Suitability
  • Made for normal to dry and mature skin
  • Suitable to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Scented with pure essential oils - no synthetic fragrance

As with any new skincare, patch test first and avoid broken skin.
